Did you know?
Before a company can build a federally- regulated energy project it must first apply to the CER.
These projects can include pipelines, power lines, or offshore renewable energy projects.
Our Filing Manual tells companies the information they need to include in a project application.
We use the information they provide to evaluate how proposed projects could impact people, property and the environment.
We’ve been working to update our Filing Manual to clarify the information we need from companies.
Recently, we updated the Filing Manual requirements for greenhouse gas emissions and climate change based on public feedback.
