Information Advisory - Management System Audits 2024-2025

The CER has released an Information Advisory summarizing the findings from six management system audits conducted during 2024-2025. These audits evaluated regulated companies’ compliance with the Canadian Energy Regulator Onshore Pipeline Regulations, with a focus on emergency management programs, Annual Reports, and lifecycle transition processes.
These findings are being shared with all regulated companies to promote best practices and influence continual improvement. The CER expects all companies to review these findings and make sure they address any similar issues identified in their own management systems.
